Senior Web Editor - Auckland

Digital content expert required for an 8 month initial contract at Frontend Design.

The main objective of this role is to streamline the Vodafone NZ website, making its offerings leaner and sleeker.

Skills required
• A copy writing star with significant experience in writing for the web.
• Have a strategic brain for IA (Information Architecture).
• Be a good listener, excellent communication and information-processing skills.
• Feel confident in articulating a proposed strategic approach to key Vodafone people.
• Is well organised; must be able to set and manage time-frames.                                                               • Proven project, process and content management skills.

Role
• Design, develop and deliver a website plan for a rewrite and restructure of the Vodafone website and prioritise a roll-out plan.
• Understand and be proficient in the new copy tone and style for communicating to customers online and make sure it is adhered to, site-wide.
• Review sections (products and services) and investigate how they can be streamlined with less pages while pushing a much stronger proposition.
• Write content pages in the new tone.
• Oversee any new content that is written by other people to make sure it is consistent with the Vodafone tone.
• Design and implement continuous quality assurance processes.
