How do we work?

Our experience has helped us develop a methodology that really works.

1. Scoping (aka requirement gathering)

It might sound simple but it’s crucial: we talk to our clients. We get to know their business goals and online objectives, and we find out about their customers and what their informational needs are.

2. Design solution

We develop what we call a ‘storyboard’. This is a map of the information architecture, focusing on content flow, how users will navigate around it and how various features will function.

We test this to make sure it’s up for the job. Then, once everyone’s happy, we design the interface, which is how the web pages will actually look.

We present these as concepts until we get the look and feel that’s right for the brand. Finally, before we build, we tie down the technical specifications.

3. Construction

Once we’ve agreed on the path forward, we start to build the site from the ground up. At this stage we incorporate content management features and any third party software interfaces.

4. Testing and delivery

We pride ourselves on robust testing to ensure we’re delivering something tried and true. So once we’ve created a site, before we go ‘live’, we’ll test it to iron out any potential wrinkles.

5. Maintain and upgrade

To keep a web presence working it’s essential to refresh content regularly. We build relationships and provide software solutions aimed at facilitating this; our clients are ultimately in control of their websites, but we’re on-hand and informed to help them as much or as little as necessary with future implementation and upgrades.
